Privacy & terms

Rows is a shared list. Both stories here are short: we collect almost nothing, and the deal is simple.
What we store
The rows your team makes: names, statuses, priorities, dates, notes, links, and who’s on what. That’s the product. If you set a profile photo, we store that too. All of it belongs to your board and exists so your board works.
One cookie keeps you signed in. It does exactly that and nothing else: no advertising identifiers, no cross-site anything.
The waitlist
If you apply for early access, we keep the email you typed. That’s the entire record. It exists so we can reply when a spot opens, and it does nothing else: no newsletter, no marketing, never shared or sold. Change your mind before then and we’ll delete it. Just ask.
The demo
The public demo runs entirely in your browser against made-up data. Nothing you type in it is sent anywhere or saved anywhere. The name you enter lives in your tab’s session storage so a refresh doesn’t ask twice, and it’s gone when the tab closes. Reloading resets the whole sandbox.
What we don’t do
Inside your workspace: nothing. No analytics, no trackers, no fingerprinting, nothing watching over your shoulder while you work. What your team does on its board is your team’s business.
The front door is the one exception. This site and the public demo use Google Analytics so we know whether anyone showed up — page counts and rough geography, not identities. It never follows you past the door, and we never sell anything about anyone. We don’t want your data; we want your list of errands to feel nice.
The terms
Rows is free while it’s early, offered as-is. It’s a small product made by a small team, and we work on it constantly — but we can’t promise it will never go down, lose a beat, or change shape. Keep a copy of anything you can’t afford to lose.
Your stuff is yours
Everything your team puts on a board belongs to your team. We host it; we don’t own it, mine it, or train anything on it. Want it gone? Delete it, or ask and we’ll wipe the workspace.
Be a good human
Don’t use Rows to harass people, spread hate, break the law, or break the product. Don’t poke at other teams’ boards or try to get around the guardrails. Workspaces that cross these lines get closed — that’s the whole enforcement policy.
Endings
You can walk away any time. If we ever have to close a workspace or wind the product down, we’ll give you notice and time to take your data with you. No hostages.
Changes
If any of this changes in a way that matters, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. We won’t bury anything.
